Things Max says . . .

Max can be sort of philisophical in a two-year old way sometimes. Today when I was feeding Charlie, he was sitting by me and thinking deep thoughts. First he said "Babies don't kick down people." then he said "People can put cool things in their pockets." and then he told me "People can buy candy when they are hungry." I think he's figuring life out.

He likes to start phrases with "I won't ever never . . . ." when he is in trouble . Like "I won't ever never hit Anna again"

Max also asks me a lot "Can I break this up?" and "Can this go in the water?" He loves grown up stuff like keys, magnets, calculators, colanders, etc. He asks me every time he sees me putting on my make up if he can have it--I'm pretty sure he's not wanting it to wear it, but just to figure out what it is and probably make a huge mess in the process.

One of Max's favorite things is toast and the other day Max was sitting at the kitchen table looking bored and I asked him what he was doing. He said "Just waiting for my toast to pop up." (so then I put some bread in the toaster).

I also think it's really nice that Max tells everyone who leaves our house "Bye! Me love you! Don't touch the flowers!!"
