Six!

This boy is now our resident six-year-old. Okay, it really happened almost a month ago, but we're still excited about it. For his birthday we went to the movie Frozen, which we all LOVED, and then had a little party with the grandmas and grandpas who live close. It was a pretty special day.

Here is what I want to remember about Max right now...
  • Max keeps me on track...he knows our schedule, our calendar, and all the rules. He's one organized six-year-old.
  • Max loves making stuff--out of Legos, paper, clay, cardboard boxes, anything I am about to throw away.
  • Along the same lines, Max is a fun brother because he has really cool ideas about how to build forts and catapults and traps and slides.
  • Max loves to draw and spends a lot of time practicing.
  • Max still has boundless energy. He runs and jumps everywhere he goes. All the energy comes in handy when he plays soccer (which he did great at this year)--and soccer comes in handy for all that energy.
  • Max did choir in school this year and he sang his best and his loudest.
  • Max is a really sensitive boy and asks me a lot if he can help and how I'm doing. He takes really good care of his little sister and is a good friend to Charlie and Anna. He is a little bit of a worrier and really wants his whole family to be happy.
We love you Max! You are one awesome six-year-old
