I love this girl! She is the sweetest, and I'm so glad we got to start this parenting adventure with her. She is so good at being happy with life and she is a natural at being a big sister. Her birthday was on a Saturday so we got to spend lots of time together. We even had the Cash Dash (a family 5K) on the morning of Anna's birthday so we celebrated there in our awesome red shirts. Later in the evening we had a LATE NIGHT, with some of Anna's friends. It was a wild party with art projects, a movie in a tent, and glow sticks. Anna's special birthday present was Molly the American Girl Doll. She saved up some of the money for her and had been so excited to get her that she talked to me about it every day for months. I was excited for her to get Molly too. Happy birthday Anna Leita! We love you!
Things I want to remember about Anna from this last year..
1. Anna has been growing her hair out and it is getting long! She does it by herself sometimes and does a pretty good job.
2. Anna loves to read--favorites lately have been the Clementine series and A to Z mysteries, but nothing scary before bed.
3. Anna took a creative dance class last year and loved it.
4. Anna is a great writer and tells really interesting stories. She says things like "Wouldn't it be crazy if...." and "Today I was imagining that..." a lot and I love to hear it.
5. Anna works really hard to be good. She is even a really good example to me and to Taylor.
6. Anna is so good at laughing and being happy.
