I got to go with my favorite person ever on a vacation! We left the kids with Jamie cause she's leaving on her mission soon and says she is going to miss them so much. (hopefully after a week she will still feel that way) So for our week of alone time we decided to visit Nauvaoo, IL and other sites around that area where some of our ancestors joined the LDS church and lived before they came to Utah. It was amazing to be there. I can't imagine how they left their beautiful city and their homes and made the dangerous journey to the west. I am so thankful for their faith. I am also thankful for time with my husband. I'm a lucky girl.
