We Are the Dadises

Anna says . . "We are the Dadises and we can do hard things. " (The v sound in our last name is a problem for those members of our family under three) I love to hear, though, that she knows that she can do things that are hard and I think Max is learning that too, actually I think Max was born knowing that. Some of the hard things we do right now include sharing, walking and not riding in the stroller, cleaning up all by ourselves, etc. Someday they weill do even harder things and maybe remembering that they are Dadises will make those hard things seem more possible.

Blessing Day

I love blessing days. Charlie was blessed a week ago on March 7th--here is our happy boy looking so sharp in his little blessing suit.

Charlie with his mommy and daddy who love him so much!

I had to take a picture of his little coat tails because I couldn't even handle how cute they were.

And here are some pictures of family that came to enjoy the day with us. We win when it comes to family.

Max and Grandpa Bob eating lunch.

Grandma Sonja and Grandpa Kent with baby Charlie.

We love Charlie so much! He is such a good natured, loving, cuddly baby and we just need him in our family.

Once there was a snowman

The fun parent, Taylor, took the kids out to play in the six inches of snow that graced our back yard for half of the day last Friday. They built a very friendly looking snowman. I took pictures from the window. . .

Max helped a lot--Anna mostly ate a lot of snow,
and then came inside to be warm and watch the progress out the window.
Good work team!

And here stood our wintry friend until it was springtime a little later that day and he melted into a little lump of snow in the middle of a whole backyard of grass.

Good Baby

This child is chill, and I so love him for it. He has his newborn moments of course, but I when all his needs are met, this is how he spends his time. The only challenge is finding a safe-from-little-feet place to let him stretch out on the floor.
