Sprinkler Differences

Anna begs to run in the sprinklers on a daily basis,
and we put on her swim suit
and turn on the sprinklers
and she runs all around the water,

but not in it,
not even one toe.

Silly Anna.

Max is a little more willing to
get soaked,
but he doesn't like it when he pores a whole bucket of water
down his swimming suit.

Poor Max.

One More Missionary

We are full of news here. My brother Tay opened his mission call yesterday. He got it in the mail on Wednesday, but somehow waited to open it till we were all together yesterday morning.

And the big news is . . . he is leaving in October to serve in the same mission that my dad did--Eugene, Oregon! We love you Tay!

Very happy Taylor.

Very happy parents.

Anna was not sure what to think of all the screaming and hugging.

Three matching friends.
(Anna and Max made these hand print t-shirts with Wesley and Grandma Judy when I was at girls camp.)

Max and Grandpa Guy--buds.

Ultrasound at 12 weeks (7/7/09)

I think it is safe to say that we are expecting number 3! It is also safe to say that we are all very excited and ready now to celebrate, especially since I am officially feeling like I can touch, smell, and see food as well as brush my teeth again without any adverse reactions. And now that my amazing husband is officially not having to compensate for the time I spent feeling blah and getting very behind in things like laundry and cleaning toilets. Max officially has no clue what he is in for in January, and Anna officially is positive that we will name the baby Princess Aurora. (no gender has been determined as of yet).

I was so amazed when Max was born by how there was enough love in me for one more baby, even though I already adored Anna with all of my heart. It is my favorite miracle, and I already feel like I love this baby.

Rocks and Fireworks

The Fourth of July was a success here, except for the fact that I took no pictures of any holiday events. We spent the weekend putting rocks in our parking strips. We own about 40,000,000 pebbles now, and they look great and don't need to be watered. One more project down. Way down.

As far as celebrating Independence Day, Taylor restrained himself and put on a very age appropriate fireworks show for Anna and Max. We ate dinner with Grandma Leita, Grandpa Kent, and my cousin Kenzie, and then we all walked to the park down the street by our house and watched the fireworks from there. Max and Anna each watched for about three minutes and then spent the rest of the time rolling in the grass, running around, and feeding everyone Teddy Grahams. Funny Kids. Fun day.

Here are a couple pictures from Sunday of Anna and Max playing together. I love the times when they make each other laugh instead of cry.
